IMPETUS has developed and implemented a “Total Quality Management System” in
accordance with the requirements of the International Quality Standard
ISO 9001:2008 that covers all of its activities and its
relationship with its clients. The Quality System of the company provides the
framework for achieving a continuous organized and targeted improvement of
quality for all the activities of the company and its employees.
IMPETUS has been certified since 1998 for the quality of its services according
to the Quality Standard
EN ISO 9001, by the internationally prestigious independent
organization TÜV CERT RHEINLAND. In 2010, the company has
renewed its certification (EN ISO 9001:2008) for the next three
years in the field of
“Research, Development & Studies related to Infrastructural Projects”
and “Development of Information Systems”.
In IMPETUS, Quality is treated as an essential and integral part of the
company’s activities. Quality expectations are determined in the beginning of
each project undertaken. Experience shows that dealing with complex projects,
requires the development of appropriate and proven mechanisms for the
organization and the management of the project , and establishing the mechanisms
and the mentality of active and preventative ways of risk management. For this
reason emphasis is given in the Quality Control of every project.
Quality Control is an independent activity used to evaluate the
methods and results of operation and quality management and aims to create the
“control method” of each project and their quality. Quality control involves
monitoring certain results of the project in order to access their compliance
with relevant quality standards. It involves identifying possible corrective
actions to eliminate non-acceptable performance.
